Founded in 1998, the Lustgarten Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer.
Additionally, they work to foster and improve the dialogue between members of the medical and scientific communities, and heighten public awareness about pancreatic cancer.
100% of every donation to the foundation goes directly to cancer research, and they have received eight consecutive 4-star ratings (the highest possible) from Charity Navigator, the premier independent charity evaluator.
What If contributed to the Lustgarten Foundation in memory of Dr. Robert Gillon, our CEO Josh’s father, who passed away recently after practicing medicine for over 60 years. This donation is particularly meaningful to the What If family, as Josh’s mother and his wife’s father both passed away due to pancreatic cancer.
